Teams competed for awards including best team name, best team outfit, best score, and the ultimate prize – The “Splitzker” Trophy. 2018 AIA Conference in New York City
Campo Associate AIA members Bryan Bradshaw and Isabelle Gizinski recently traded the Big Easy for the Big Apple to attend the 2018 AIA conference in New York City. Together with 26,000 other Architecture professionals from around the world, they attended discussion groups, networked with former connections and classmates, and got a first look at the new industry products at the Architecture Expo. Highlights included Keynotes at Radio City Music Hall, lectures by industry leaders, and countless tours of New York City architecture and landmarks!
Vue Nola at 1600 Canal Makes List of Coolest Rooftop Bars
Rising high above the city, Vue Nola was recently quoted on Yelp as one of the “coolest rooftop bars”. Located at 1600 Canal Street, this bar sits on the former ODECO office building. Converted into a dual-brand Springhill Suites/Towneplace Suites, the penthouse level was converted to a rooftop bar, complete with green space, fire pits and ample seating.
