SHELL BUILDING
Located in the heart of downtown St. Louis, the Art Deco and Late Gothic Revival structure originally opened in 1926 as the corporate headquarters of Royal Dutch Shell’s U.S. subsidiaries, Roxana Petroleum Corp. Renovated in 1981, the 12-story building has since housed office, co-working spaces, and The Riverfront Times headquarters. Locally known as the Shell Building, the project located at 1221 Locust Street will be renovated into a dual-brand Home2 Suites + Tru by Hilton.
