THE GRADY HOTEL
The adaptive re-use of the historic J. B. Wilder building in downtown Louisville turned a vacant office building into a luxury boutique hotel, The Grady Hotel, and basement speak-easy style restaurant. Dating back to 1875, this building was most recently an office building, with its most notable tenant being the Swann-Abram Hat Company. As the Architect of Record and Historic Tax Credit Consultant, Campo managed the preservation of the building’s historic features, design of all new EP systems, and structural modifications.
